Leadership Opportunities

Whatever their future plans, being able to lead and motivate people will make our students valuable and successful. We encourage our sixth form students to provide opportunities to develop these vital leadership skills by actively encouraging sixth formers to mentor and support our younger students.

Whilst they are shaping their future, we expect that sixth form students will have a positive impact in the here and now, inspiring and serving the local community. Our students are challenged to enrich the lives of those around them. There are several leadership opportunities available to facilitate this. Whether it be becoming part of the student leadership team, coaching a year 7 football team or helping younger students achieve in a maths lesson there are various ways for our students to really make a difference to the lives of others.

We ask that all our sixth formers be lead learners in their chosen subjects and act as role models for our main school students.
